Serj Tankian Finishes Song for Armenian Genocide Film ‘The Promise’

Director Taps Serj Tankian To Score 'The Last Inhabitant'

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 9, ARMENPRESS. Jivan Avetisyan’s new film “The Last Inhabitant” is about the only inhabitant that remained in an Armenian village after deportation. According to the director, the film to be released in 2016 is about love and self-sacrifice originating from love. The screenplay was written by Tsovinar Khachatryan and Masis Baghdasaryan. The film is produced by Masis Baghdasaryan, Gevorg Gevorgyan and Kestutis Drazdauskas. Serj Contributes Music To Ilya Naishuller's 'Hardcore' Film

“Hardcore” is the name of a new sci-fi action film Ilya Naishuller (of ‘Bad Motherfucker‘ fame) put together. The film is shot entirely from the perspective of the hero (think a first person shooter video game.)  Serj Tankian has contribtued some music to the film, which stars Sharlto Copley of ‘District 9‘, etc. fame.  This is truly a film like no other.
