Here's the first trailer from the epic film Furious-The Legend of Kolovrat, slated for release on November 30 in various international countries.
"For several months I have been working on the music for an epic blockbuster movie Legend of the Kolovrat", — said Serj Tankian. "I dreamed about this project for the last few years, to join a big band, crazy rock and ethnic music, in this sense, my dream has come true. I can safely say that I am incredibly proud of the work on the music for this film".
The film, produced by Central Partnership and KIT, is a Russian production directed by Dzhanik Fayziev.
Fayziev has been quoted to say, "Serj Tankian's probably the only musician able to combine his creativity with contemporary beats and ultimate tenderness. He managed to create an original soundtrack for the film, which can rightly be put on a par with the best of world film music".
"We are very pleased and proud to have a musician of world level agreed to work on our movie. To work with Serge great fun. I am sure that our cooperation is not limited to this pattern and hope ahead of us is not a joint project," — said General Director of GPM KIT, Rafael Minasbekyan.
